Website and hosting
The main website and public MCP endpoint run on Vercel. The ChatGPT Sites edition provides the inquiry database and aggregate campaign measurement. These hosting providers process ordinary request metadata to deliver and protect the services. We have not added advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or a mailing-list service.
Project inquiries
When you submit the contact form with your consent, we store your name, email, company, selected service, project summary, optional desired outcome, current system details, and budget range, timing, campaign category, request reference, and submission time. Mottobits uses these details to review and discuss your request. Inquiries are stored in the Site’s database and are not published or exposed through a public read endpoint. The form confirms receipt only after the database saves the request. It does not send a confirmation email or subscribe you to marketing.
Optional AI brief review
When AI brief review is enabled, the form displays a notice before you continue. Continuing sends your selected service and project brief through Vercel AI Gateway to TypeSafe AI’s Jev decision model. Jev assesses whether the brief describes an engineering need, needs clarification, or appears to be obvious noise. The form uses that assessment to select a predefined follow-up question when needed. The separate name, email, company, timing, desired outcome, system details, and budget fields are not sent to the model. Anything you include in the brief itself is part of that request, so leave out credentials and confidential information. Your wording is not rewritten.
We keep a private review reference, a one-way fingerprint of the brief and service, the assessment and selected follow-up, and available model usage and cost metadata. Review records do not duplicate your raw brief or contact fields. A submitted inquiry may link to its review record. The integration requires providers that exclude model training on your brief. Vercel may route the request through DigitalOcean to TypeSafe AI. These providers may retain data for service operation, security, or legal obligations under their own policies; this is not a zero-retention service. If the model is unavailable or the review allowance is exhausted, you can still submit your request for Mottobits to read. A clarification can also be submitted as written.
Campaign measurement
We store daily counts of page views, resource downloads, contact-link clicks, and successfully submitted inquiries by campaign category. Interaction events contain no form contents, email addresses, cookies, or persistent visitor identifier. Counts measure interactions, not unique people or qualified leads. The campaign category is also saved with an inquiry so we can assess relevance.
Abuse prevention
The application uses an hourly rotating hash of the request’s IP address to limit repeated submissions and event traffic. It does not store the raw IP in the application database. Expired rate-limit records are removed as further requests arrive. Hosting providers may retain their own security logs.
Assessment and agent kit
The readiness assessment and agent kit process your choices in the browser. They do not upload those answers, save them to browser storage, or call a language model. Copying or downloading the result is your choice.
Direct contact
If you use an email or public-profile link, that provider processes information under its own terms. The website does not know whether you sent a message there. Keep initial messages high level and leave out credentials, proprietary code, and confidential customer data.
Public MCP endpoint
The MCP server provides public playbooks, package information, and deterministic planning tools. The application does not intentionally store tool inputs. Send only the categorical answers the tools request. Hosting request logs may be processed separately.
AI and project work
The public MCP tools do not call a language model. Your own AI client may have usage fees. Optional brief review uses Mottobits’ configured model allowance and does not charge the visitor. For an engagement, clients provide and control work devices, tools, and AI subscriptions. We agree permitted services, access, confidentiality, and data boundaries before work starts.
